“Which multi-site networking provider is best?” is one of the questions we get asked most. Let us be clear about who we are first: Yuxinan is a multi-site networking product built by Siwenlide, and we have a vested interest in this article. So this article carries no ranking and no “number one” — it simply lays out the publicly listed prices, billing models and best-fit scenarios of three mainstream options as published on their own websites in September 2026. The choice is yours.
In one sentence: for individuals and NAS users, both competing products offer a free version, so try them at no cost before deciding; for store and branch networking, look at how licenses are counted and whether bandwidth is capped; to publish a service to the public internet, Peanut Hull and the Yuxinan cloud private line are two different routes.
1. Overview of the three options (publicly listed prices on each vendor’s website, September 2026)
| Item | Pugongying (Oray) | Peanut Hull (Oray) | Yuxinan (Siwenlide) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Positioning | Multi-site networking (SD-WAN) | Intranet penetration (single-point publishing) | Multi-site networking + zero trust access + cloud private line |
| Billing model | Per license/year; client and hardware licenses priced separately | Per plan/year, including bandwidth and number of mappings | Per plan/year; the endpoint quota covers hardware, administrator and employee accounts |
| Entry-level price | Free version available; Business Edition from RMB 148/year (client license) | Standard Edition RMB 1,299/year | Free trial edition RMB 0, permanent; Personal Edition software endpoint RMB 79/year, hardware RMB 180/year |
| Bandwidth terms | P2P direct connections are not throttled; relayed traffic is throttled by tier (8–35 Mbps) | 10–32 Mbps depending on plan | P2P direct connections are not throttled; relay bandwidth 2–35 Mbps depending on plan, available as an add-on |
| Public IP required? | No | No (that is precisely its selling point) | No; a cloud private line can be added when a static public IP is needed |
| Prices publicly listed? | Mostly public; bulk edition requires a quote | Public | Fully public; custom development by quotation |
The prices in the table come from the publicly available pages on each vendor’s website as of September 2026. They may change with promotions; please refer to the current page on each vendor’s website before ordering. This article does not constitute any pricing commitment.
2. Vendor by vendor: where the money actually goes
Pugongying: billed by “number of licenses”, with client and hardware counted separately
Pugongying is a multi-site networking product under Oray and the best-known name in this category. Its billing unit is the “license”, and client licenses and hardware licenses carry two different prices:
- Business Edition: client license RMB 148/year, hardware license RMB 328/year, relay bandwidth 8 Mbps
- Flagship Edition: client license RMB 208/year, hardware license RMB 528/year, relay bandwidth 15 Mbps, multi-region BGP
- Platinum Edition: client license RMB 398/year, hardware license RMB 898/year, relay bandwidth 20 Mbps, includes cross-border routes
- High-Performance Edition: client license RMB 518/year, hardware license RMB 1,298/year, relay bandwidth 35 Mbps
Two points matter: P2P direct connections are not throttled, and only traffic relayed through a server is throttled by tier — so the actual experience depends heavily on whether your network can establish P2P; also, hardware licenses carry a replacement quota (number of replacements per month = 3 + 10% of the quantity purchased), so replacing a failed unit draws on that quota. Its industrial 4G routers are widely deployed in industrial remote operations scenarios, and a mature ecosystem is its greatest advantage.
Peanut Hull: it is not networking, it is “publishing one machine to the outside”
Peanut Hull and Pugongying both belong to Oray, but their positioning is entirely different: intranet penetration — mapping a single server, camera or NAS at home or in the office to the public internet so it can be reached from outside. Standard is RMB 1,299/year (10 Mbps, 3 mappings), Preferred RMB 1,899/year, and Deluxe RMB 2,699/year (32 Mbps, 6 mappings plus SLA).
What it solves is “someone outside needs to come in and reach this one machine of mine”, not “my several sites need to be connected into a single network”. If you have just one NAS you want to view from outside, it fits; if you need a store’s point-of-sale terminal to reach head-office ERP, that is a networking job, not a penetration job.
Yuxinan: bandwidth included in the plan, licenses follow the account
Yuxinan is our product. It is billed by “plan + number of endpoints”, and the endpoint quota bundles hardware, administrator and employee accounts into one count, with no distinction between “client licenses” and “hardware licenses”:
| Plan | Price | Devices Included | Bandwidth per Device | Per Additional Device/Year | Layer-2 Networking |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free Trial | RMB 0 forever | 2 devices | 2 Mbps | — | — |
| Personal | RMB 198/year | 3 devices | 4 Mbps | RMB 66 | — |
| Business Basic | RMB 980/year | 5 devices | 5 Mbps | RMB 196 | ? |
| Business Standard (Recommended) | RMB 1,980/year | 10 devices | 10 Mbps | RMB 198 | ? |
| Business Flagship | RMB 4,980/year | 20 devices | 20 Mbps | RMB 249 | ? |
| Enterprise Custom Development | Quote on request | Custom | Per proposal | Custom | Per proposal |
Additional terms: monthly billing is available; annual billing = monthly × 10. Bandwidth packages are RMB 600/5 Mbps/year, and from Business Basic upward you can also add bandwidth in 1 Mbps increments (RMB 198/Mbps/year). Two-year terms get a 5% discount; three years or more get a 10% discount. A 7-day grace period after expiry, with no speed reduction. Licenses follow the account — if the device fails or you switch to hardware from another vendor, you simply swap it in, with no “replacement quota” consumed.
If you need to publish a service to the public internet, Yuxinan uses a cloud private line (public IP) rather than intranet tunneling: NAT shared IP RMB 600/year (includes 10 Mbps outbound + 10 ports; even the free personal plan comes with 1 port mapping), BGP dedicated IP RMB 1,800/year (all ports on a dedicated IP, includes 5 Mbps).
Detailed features and documentation are on the Yuxinan official website; the live figures on its pricing page are authoritative.
III. How to Choose by Scenario
Personal NAS / photo library / download box, wanting to reach home from outside
All three vendors offer low-cost entry points: the Yuxinan free plan (2 devices, 2 Mbps relay, unlimited speed on P2P), the Pgy free plan, and Peanut Shell single-port tunneling. Run one free for a week first to see whether P2P connects over your home broadband, then decide whether to pay.
Chain stores: POS, surveillance, and ERP need to reach headquarters
A typical networking need. Compare three things: the total annual cost per store (license fee × number of stores), whether the relay bandwidth tier is enough, and how stable it is when a store has only 4G. Yuxinan’s Business Basic plan — 5 devices at RMB 980/year — is designed for up to five stores; for more stores, move up to the Standard plan at 10 devices for RMB 1,980/year.
Factories: PLCs at different sites must sit on the same subnet; MES access limited to a few engineers
The key requirements are Layer-2 networking (PLCs at two sites in the same broadcast domain) plus fine-grained authorization. Both Pgy and Yuxinan support Layer-2; Yuxinan inherits “per-user authorization and per-site scope limits” from its zero trust product line, making it a good fit for scenarios with access-control requirements.
Remote maintenance of industrial equipment (after-sales engineers connecting to on-site PLCs)
Pgy’s industrial router ecosystem is the most mature in this area, with broad hardware availability. Yuxinan’s differentiator is a remote operations console that shows “who is connected, what they are doing, and one-click disconnect”, plus firmware that never reboots on its own (upgrades require human confirmation) — a good fit for production lines that are sensitive to on-site stability.
Job Site / Emergency: No Broadband, but Surveillance Must Be Viewable from the Internet
A pure 4G scenario. If you need “a fixed public IP even on 4G,” the NAT shared IP from Yuxinan’s cloud private line (RMB 600/year) is exactly what it is for. Peanut Shell’s tunneling also works, but it is billed by the number of mappings, so once you have a lot of cameras you have to move up a tier.
IV. Three Common Pitfalls
- Does the license follow the device or the account? With device-bound licensing, a broken, lost, or hardware-replaced box consumes a “replacement quota” or even requires buying a new license; with account-bound licensing, replacing hardware costs nothing. Asking this one question before signing can save you an argument two years later.
- Does “unlimited speed” carry the qualifier “P2P direct connection”? Almost every multi-site networking product offers unlimited speed over P2P and throttles relayed traffic. Whether P2P can be established between your two sites depends on the NAT type of the broadband at each end — so test for free first, and do not pay first.
- Buying intranet tunneling when what you need is networking. Tunneling is one-to-one publishing; multi-site networking is many-to-many interconnection. Buying the wrong one does not mean it will not work — it means it gets more awkward the more you use it: as branches multiply, the mapping count and bandwidth tiers of a tunneling product push you into constant upgrades.
V. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does multi-site networking require a public IP address?
No. All three solutions have devices actively connecting to a central node, so networking works behind multiple layers of NAT and over 4G. What does require a public IP is the need to “publish services externally” — that is the job of a cloud private line or intranet tunneling.
Q: The free plan works well — when should we start paying?
Three signals: the number of devices exceeds the free quota; the free tier’s relay bandwidth is no longer enough (video conferencing and large file transfers start to lag); or you need enterprise features such as Layer 2 networking and audit reports.
Q: The price gap is so wide — is the cheaper one cutting corners on bandwidth?
Not necessarily; more often it comes down to a different billing model. Check three things before comparing: how many devices are included, how much bandwidth each device gets, and whether the figures are P2P or relayed. Only once those three are aligned on the same basis are the prices comparable.
Q: We are already using another multi-site networking product — is switching to Yuxinan a hassle?
The switching cost of networking products lies mainly in “one on-site visit per site to swap the device or change the configuration.” Yuxinan lets you first run the free version in parallel with your existing setup between two sites, and switch site by site once you are satisfied — no need to cut over all at once.
Q: How is data security ensured?
Yuxinan’s private keys are generated locally on the gateway and never leave the device; the platform stores only public keys. Each enterprise has its own dedicated tunnel interface and routing table (tenant isolation), and unapproved network segments cannot enter the tunnel. When evaluating vendors, we suggest asking every one of them this question.
Final Thoughts
In the multi-site networking category there is no “best vendor,” only the vendor whose billing model happens to fit your needs. Individuals and small teams should first get the free versions from two vendors up and running; before an enterprise signs a contract, writing the three questions — who the license follows, how bandwidth is measured, and what the hardware-replacement policy is — into an annex to the contract matters more than which vendor you pick.
